Fight the effects that aging has had on your brain & body

Try this and amaze yourself (and friends)!

"Hey, you really have to try this, it's mind-blowing!"

Many of us have received those "wow, this is amazing!" email forwards from friends and relatives...you know, those brain-teasing images, puzzles, etc. that you can't help but want to pass along yourself.

Well, we're equally guilty: having just received this one (below) at BrainReady, we had to share, particularly the second part which illustrates just how amazing, complex and quickly adaptable our brains really are...

If you struggle with either of these, don't give up, your brain can do it!

Here we go:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ALZHEIMERS' EYE TEST

Count every " F " in the following text:

"FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY COMBINED WITH
THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS..."

HOW MANY F's did you count?

WRONG, THERE ARE 6 -- no joke.
READ IT AGAIN !

Really, go back and try to find the 6 F's before you keep reading.

The brain cannot process "OF".

Incredible or what? Go back and look again!!

Anyone who counts all 6 "F's" on the first go is a genius.

Three is normal, four is quite rare.
Send this to your friends.
It will drive them crazy.!
And keep them occupied
For several minutes...

Pretty amazing, isn't it?

Now, both of these above exercises were also excellent brain workouts (particularly the second one); very much the kind of mental "stretching" and cross-training that all of us need, every day, as we get older in order to keep our brains from deteriorating.

So congratulations on just having done part of your daily brain workout, and how about wrapping it up with a listen to the latest "Just Simple Math" BrainReady Podcast or a BrainFlex Worksheet? :)
